We follow manufacturer recommendations for annual maintenence which includes cleaning and lubrication of moving parts. Maintenence also includes TNU Verification, Temperature accurracy check with NIST Traceable thermometer/probe and calibration if required. Finally we perform complete and comprehensive testing of power, heating/cooling, firmware and display sytems.

The PTC 100 Thermal Cycler. This is a tried and tru unit from MJ/BioRad. We follow manufacturer recommendations for annual maintenence which includes cleaning and Hot Bonnet Testing. Maintenence also includes TNU Verification, Temperature accurracy check with NIST Traceable thermometer/probe and calibration if required. Also includes complete and comprehensive testing of power, heating/cooling, firmware and display sytems.
